Today, I finally stumbled upon Whisper.cpp, and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! It’s a speech recognition model, and the coolest part is that I can just throw any raw Japanese video at it and get a near-perfect transcription.
There are so many anime episodes and videos I’ve wanted to watch, but the speech is usually way too fast for me to keep up. Now, I can actually enjoy them with proper Japanese subtitles. Seriously, I wish I’d known about this sooner—it’s a total game-changer for my study sessions!
今日、ついにWhisper.cppを見つけました！ずっと探していたのは、まさにこれです。これは音声認識モデルなのですが、すごいのは、日本語の生動画をそのまま放り込むだけで、ほぼ完璧な文字起こしをしてくれるところです。
見たいアニメや動画はたくさんあるのですが、喋るスピードが速すぎて、内容が理解できないことがよくありました。でも、これがあれば、ちゃんとした日本語字幕を付けて楽しむことができます。もっと早く知っておけばよかった！本当に最高のツールです。
